newcamd in linux

hello,
Hi,
Here I have a big problem I have just installed Ubuntu Linux 8.04 and I want to install newcamd. Can you send me Connecting to download and install,or a tutorial by picture it on how linux because I'm new on linux.I post my message on several forum without any answer. I believe that here I would find an answer.

create "server" ( this is example you can select any name for folder) folder under /root
and put newcs.x86 in this folder /root/server
and put newcs.xml same folder and edit newcs.xml
look at my newcs.xml for linux http://www.newcs.org/files/linux-auon-newcs.xml
and chmod 755 newcs.x86 and run this command
/root/server/newcs.x86 -c /root/server/newcs.xml
